Launch Festival Sells Out All 5,800 Tickets

Interest continues to run rampant when it comes to IT innovation. The sixth annual Launch Festival, one of the hottest events in IT startupdom, competed its three-day run on March 6, selling all of its 5,800 tickets. The event was held at the San Francisco Design Concourse.

Organizer Jason Calacanis hosted about 300 IT startups at the event, with products ranging from video games to enterprise apps to children’s entertainment and education apps.
Sponsors included Google, Microsoft, Samsung, Comcast, SAP, and a number of venture capital firms. Go here to see video presentations at the event.

Chris Preimesberger
