Small businesses have a hard-enough time trying to stay afloat in a competitive world. Intacct Corp. wants to make things a little easier with its Intacct Cash Management hosted accounting application.

The new release, targeted at small to midsize businesses, enables users to manage their cash positions online by creating customized internal controls for payment approvals, automating the approval and routing process for payments, scheduling payments to be made at a future date, recording paying, and reconciling credit card transactions. Accounting outsourcers and financial staffs of multilocation businesses can also use Intacct Cash Management to remotely manage corporate cash accounts, including checking, savings and charge accounts, said officials with the Los Gatos, Calif., company.

The application is free to Intacct users.
