      Product and Services

Ivanti makes multi-layered endpoint security look easy. For your security strategy to be a winner today, you need to layer on foundational security tools. Ivanti Endpoint Security solutions provide the security controls global experts agree create the highest barriers to real-world attacks.

      Key Features

Ivanti Patch for SCCM: Ivanti Patch for SCCM, powered by Shavlik, maximizes your organization’s investment in SCCM to reduce security risks from unpatched non-Microsoft third-party applications. As a plug-in to SCCM, it keeps your risk low and your software up to date without adding infrastructure or training.

Ivanti Patch for Windows: With Patch for Windows, powered by Shavlik, you can find online and offline systems, scan for missing patches, and patch everything from the Windows OS, VMs, virtual templates, the ESXi hypervisor with the product’s deep integration with VMware, and hundreds of third-party apps. Keep even offline virtual images in a constant state of readiness to be deployed. You can use the agentless features to reduce the footprint on physical and virtual server, or the agent for on-premises systems that may need additional permissions or network configurations. Ivanti Patch for Windows also includes the standard version of Ivanti Xtraction—taking reporting to an entirely new level with the ability to bring together data from across the organization and customize dashboards and reports by role.

Ivanti Patch for Linux, UNIX, Mac: Ivanti Patch for Linux, UNIX, Mac, powered by Heat, swiftly detects vulnerabilities in today’s environment, from workstation to data center. It deploys expertly pre-tested patches automatically across your heterogeneous OS and third-party app environment, helping organizations to patch with more efficiency and efficacy. Ivanti Patch for Linux, UNIX, Mac also includes the standard version of Ivanti Xtraction—taking reporting to an entirely new level with the ability to bring together data from across the organization and customize dashboards and reports by role.

Ivanti Patch for Endpoint Manager: Ivanti Patch for Endpoint Manager, powered by Landesk, can swiftly detect vulnerabilities in Windows, macOS, Linux, and hundreds of third-party apps (Acrobat Flash/Reader, Java, Web browsers and more) and deploy expertly pre-tested patches everywhere you need them. Simplify how you get things done with the ability to patch and manage endpoints from a single console. Ivanti Patch for Endpoint Manager also includes the standard version of Ivanti Xtraction—taking reporting to an entirely new level with the ability to bring together data from across the organization and customize dashboards and reports by role.

Ivanti Application Control: With Ivanti Application Control, powered by AppSense, you can prevent unauthorized code execution without making IT manage extensive lists manually and without creating obstacles to user productivity. Trusted Ownership automatically prevents the execution of any code, even unknown, that a non-trusted owner (a typical user account, for example) introduces. You can manage user privileges and policy just as easily, at a granular level, while allowing for self-elevation when exceptions occur. Give users just the privileges they need to fulfil their roles—no more, no less—while keeping IT focused on core business initiatives rather than “keeping the lights on.”

Ivanti Device Control: Ivanti Device Control, powered by Heat, enforces security policies on removable device usage and data encryption. Quickly identify and lock down endpoints to prevent unauthorized use of removable devices and ports, and to prevent unknown apps from being installed and executed—reducing your attack surface exponentially. Implement file copy limitations, file type filtering, and forced encryption policies for data moved onto removable devices. Ivanti Device Control also includes the standard version of Ivanti Xtraction—taking reporting to an entirely new level with the ability to bring together data from across the organization and customize dashboards and reports by role.

Ivanti Endpoint Security, Powered by Heat: Ivanti Endpoint Security provides defense-in-depth protection for targeted threats, combining operational and security capabilities to effectively reduce the attack surface, while layering preventative technologies to disrupt targeted attack progression. Ivanti Endpoint Security provides greater visibility and control with an end-to-end approach that includes capabilities to meet endpoint operations, security, compliance, and IT risk management needs. Ivanti Endpoint Security also includes the standard version of Ivanti Xtraction—taking reporting to an entirely new level with the ability to bring together data from across the organization and customize dashboards and reports by role.

Ivanti Endpoint Security for Endpoint Manager: Ivanti Endpoint Security for Endpoint Manager, powered by Landesk, brings together device control, diagnostics, remote endpoint control, flexible dashboards and reporting, and more with automated app control and patch management to prevent, detect, and remediate even the most sophisticated ransomware and other threats. And integration with Ivanti Endpoint Manager increases efficiency and control over your IT environment. Provide both security and systems management from the console you already know. Ivanti Endpoint Security for Endpoint Manager also includes the standard version of Ivanti Xtraction—taking reporting to an entirely new level with the ability to bring together data from across the organization and customize dashboards and reports by role.

      Insight and Analysis

From eWEEK research: Ivanti IT Asset Management Suite provides IT managers with a real-time overview of how IT assets such as software and hardware are deployed. Ivanti has one of the most intuitive user interfaces in the business. One customizable dashboard provides a graphic view of categories such as software and hardware assets and an IT self-service catalog in order to emphasize key business benefits in an easy-to-see, all-up dashboard setting. Updates are automatically incorporated into graphics displaying the amount of money that has been saved or could be saved. Thus, financial managers can use this functionality in addition to IT managers.

Automated components that import and track information, such as when hardware is purchased from lease, warranties, and contracts allow for smoother employee on-boarding and off-boarding. These components also capture information around recalls for consumable hardware assets such as batteries and printer toner. This automation also gathers all assets with business-to-business connectors in order to link vendor and manufacturer data. Information from vendors such as Microsoft, CDW, Adobe, Apple, Verizon and Lenovo is automatically imported into asset records.

Ivanti has been selected a Quadrant Leader by Gartner Research and has been given a high ranking by Forrester Research.

Overall, based on the peer reviews from the three evaluators, eWEEK gives Ivanti products 4.5 stars on a 5-star scale.

List of current customers: Swinburne University, Deakin University, Toyota Financial Services, Bott Group, Norilsk-Taimyr Energy Company (NTEK), University of Pittsburgh.

Delivery: Ivanti’s security product portfolio offers the market’s strongest mitigation fabric for server and hybrid cloud security, providing solutions from the endpoint to the data center.
