Interactive Weeks 2001 I-Manager Survey is designed to gauge the challenges and issues facing executives in charge of corporate Internet initiatives, as well as the state of corporate spending on Internet projects.

I-manager is a term Interactive Week coined to describe the business and technology executives in charge of corporate Internet and other interactive initiatives. These individuals include department, division, line-of-business and functional managers; technology managers; chief information officers and other executive management; and e-business/e-commerce executives.

The survey targeted executives who identified themselves on Interactive Weeks circulation form as having primary responsibility for corporate Internet and interactive activities. A total of 882 executives, from companies of all sizes, responded to the poll, which was completed May 7 by Advantage Business Research.
