Enterprise resource planning software developer PeopleSoft Inc. announced Monday a new suite that combines some older technologies.

The Workforce Performance Solutions suite is made up of PeopleSofts Enterprise Portal and HRMS Portal Pack, Enterprise Learning Management, eDevelopment and some components of its Human Resources application.

What WPS does is enable users to tie together all the elements of organizational development while tracking the impact of investments in training, employee development and performance on a companys bottom line.

At the same time WPS helps companies to provide appropriate training that ensures compliance with governmental or legislative requirements the likes of Sarbanes-Oxley or OSHA [Occupational Safety and Health Administration] regulatioins, officials said.

The WPS suite is part of PeopleSofts Human Capital Management software. It offers functionality such as real-time employee performance reviews, self-service for competency management and a comprehensive management system.

The WPS suite is available now.
