Internet infrastructure and hosting company Loudcloud Inc. has announced a new performance testing service based on technology from Keynote Systems Inc.

The service, called Global Response Smart Cloud, lets customers of Loudcloud, which is based in Sunnyvale, Calif., measure and compare the real-time response rates of their sites with their competition.

Most important, since many of Loudclouds customers are already using Keynotes products, Loudcloud technicians will be able to respond much quicker to system alerts, officials said.

Keynote, of San Mateo, Calif., supplies the testing technology. Tests are run based on geographic location, network location and customizable performance thresholds, providing both back-end and end-user views. The service is available now.
