      The Gateway M285-E is a 14-inch widescreen tablet PC that weighs a hefty 7.3 pounds.

      The Gateway M285-E can be converted into tablet mode by swiveling the display and laying it flat on top of the keyboard. The tablet can be used in both landscape and portrait modes.

      The tablet we tested featured the new Intel Core 2 Duo processor. With the systems included ATI Mobility Radeon X1400, the M285-E can support the Aero Glass graphics features in the upcoming Vista operating system.
