Route manager Fujitsu-ICL Systems Inc., of Dallas, this month introduced the TeamPad 500, a Windows CE-based handheld device designed for route management.

Going global In addition to running on Microsoft Corp.s operating system, the TeamPad 500 includes a 150MHz processor, a color screen and the ability to integrate with the Global Positioning System. Optional are an integrated printer card, a magnetic strip reader, wireless capabilities and a scanner.

Coming soon The device, which will be generally available during the first quarter of next year, will have a base price of $2,300.
