The HTC Touch Diamond2 features a 3.2-inch high-resolution wide-screen VGA display. The display on the U.S. Touch Diamond, by comparison, is 2.76 inches.

The Touch Diamond2 measures 4.25 by 2.09 by 0.54 inches and weighs 4.15 ounces with the battery. It received design tweaks to optimize it for one-hand use.

A touch-sensitive zoom bar on the bottom of the Touch Diamond2s touch-screen offers users a closer look at images, Web pages or maps.

The Touch Diamond2 features a 5-megpixel camera—a jump up from the 3.2-megapixel version on the Touch Diamond. It features auto-focus and gravity and ambient light sensors. The microSD slot makes it possible to store an additional 16GB of photos (or data).

The Touch Pro2 features a 3.6-inch widescreen VGA display. The smartphone measures 4.57 by 2.33 by 0.68 inches.

The HTC Touch Pro2 includes a slide-out, five-row QWERTY keyboard that has been redesigned to better accommodate larger fingers.

Dual noise-canceling microphones and speakers, part of the Touch Pro2s Straight Talk technology, enables the Pro2 to act as a “professional quality speakerphone, by the simple action of placing your phone face down on the table,” states HTC. Also included is the ability to transition from an e-mail to a single- or multi-party call.
