Linksys announced the immediate availability of its new WRE54G wireless range expander. The WRE54G is, essentially, a wireless repeater that will extend the range of your existing wireless network. If encryption is disabled, the WRE54G can be configured with the press of a button. However, a setup wizard is supplied to enable configuration of WEP. WPA capabilities will be added at a later date. The range extender will work with Linksys WRT54G, WRT54GS and WAP54g routers and access points.
