Thinking of the future Industry experts envision a future where people can work from anywhere, using a variety of wired and wireless devices. Hewlett-Packard Co. this month rolled out two notebooks designed to fit into this scenario.

Versatility The Palo Alto, Calif., companys Pavilion zt1000 notebook PC offers embedded 802.11b wireless connectivity, with optional integrated Bluetooth capabilities. The zt1000 includes an integrated v.90 56K-bps modem.

On road or at home HP also rolled out its Pavilion ze1110 notebook, designed for users on the road or at home. Both are available now, with pricing starting at $1,399 for the zt1000 and $1,099 for the ze1110.
