Two of the biggest wireless LAN switching startups, Aruba Wireless Networks and Trapeze Networks, are getting new chiefs.
Don Lebeau last week took over as the new president and CEO of Aruba. Lebeau comes from Cisco Systems, where he was senior vice president of worldwide sales and operations. He will assume the executive responsibilities of co-founder Pankaj Manglik, who had been acting CEO at Aruba for the past year while the company looked for a well-known leader.
Separately last week, Trapeze tapped James Vogt to take the helm as its new president and CEO; he will also serve as a board member. Vogt comes from storage security company Ingrian Networks, where he was president and CEO. Vogt takes over from Jim Flach, who is retiring.
