With enhanced video mode, users can now capture moments in minute detail with 4K resolution (3,840 by 2,160 pixels/30p), which offers four times the detail of Full HD. Features like SteadyShot image stabilization ensures footage will stay smooth even if the camera is moving, and Movie Creator allows users to trim and crop videos so they can edit down what they want to share.

In addition to Info-eye, Social live and Timeshift burst features, the Z2 comes preloaded with Xperia camera apps for both photo and video, including AR effect, now available for video recording. AR effect allows users to add augmented reality animations, including sound effects for video. To relive action in slow-motion detail, Timeshift video mode lets users shoot in 120 frames per second and select scenes to slow the playback speed.

One of the unique features of Sony’s Xperia products, including the Z2 tablet and smartphone, is its waterproof and dustproof construction, which lets users take their phone underwater without fear of wiping it out. In addition, Sony’s intelligent super-resolution technology, X-Reality for mobile, analyzes each image to optimize colors, sharpness and contrast while also reducing noise.

The Xperia Z2 tablet features a Live Colour LED display on its 10.1-inch screen, providing bright natural colors and sharp images in any light thanks to Sony’s latest Bravia TV technology expertise.
