In todays economy, enterprises are looking for technologies that offer high performance and low cost. Samsung Electronics USA said its new 19-inch monitor addresses both issues.

The SyncMaster 950b includes the Irvine, Calif., companys HighLight Zone controls, which let users select a specific area of the monitor—or the entire screen—to adjust size, brightness, contrast, color and sharpness.

In addition, redesigned drop-down Display Director on-screen controls include such features as zoom-in and zoom-out capabilities and focus adjustment. The monitor offers USB (Universal Serial Bus) support through an optional USB hub and built-in plug-and-play capabilities for easy installation and configuration.

The SyncMaster 950b, available now, starts at $219.
