More Macs reportedly on the way.

Apple already rolled out several Mac updates earlier this year, but reports suggest the company still has more hardware waiting in the wings before the year wraps up.

Reports point to four additional Mac devices expected to arrive, ranging from desktop upgrades to what could become one of the biggest MacBook redesigns in years.

The expected lineup includes refreshed versions of the Mac Studio, iMac, and Mac mini, alongside a new premium notebook that rumors suggest could either keep the MacBook Pro branding or debut under a new name.

Mac Studio expected to gain more power

Among the incoming machines, the Mac Studio appears set for another performance jump.

Reports by 9to5Mac indicate the desktop system could arrive with M5 Max and M5 Ultra chip options. The current version introduced M4 Max and M3 Ultra configurations, so the upcoming refresh would continue Apple's push toward increasingly powerful desktop systems aimed at creators and demanding workloads.

Little else is expected to change externally. Current reports do not point to a redesigned chassis or major cosmetic changes. With AI workloads becoming increasingly demanding, however, internal upgrades alone may carry significant weight for professional users.

iMac could get a new look

Apple's all-in-one desktop may also receive an update later this year. The iMac was upgraded with the M4 chip in late 2024, and reports now suggest the machine could move to the M5 generation sooner than some expected.

Performance improvements are anticipated, but another change could be more visible. Sources suggest Apple is preparing a refreshed set of colors for the desktop. Details about those colors remain unclear, though reports indicate Apple may once again tweak the visual identity of the product line.

Mac mini refresh reportedly on the roadmap

The Mac mini could also receive a routine but important upgrade. According to the reports, Apple is expected to add M5 and M5 Pro configurations while largely keeping the current design intact.

The Mac mini has become one of Apple's more flexible products, serving users with a wide range of needs, from home setups to more advanced computing projects. No external changes have been tied to the device so far, suggesting Apple may focus primarily on performance gains.

A redesigned MacBook may steal the spotlight

The biggest attention, however, may land on Apple's high-end notebook plans. Rumors increasingly point to a major redesign that could either arrive as a next-generation MacBook Pro or as a new MacBook Ultra.

Reports suggest several changes are under consideration, including a thinner and lighter design, an OLED display, touchscreen support, and replacing the current display notch with Dynamic Island.

Supply chain reports also indicate that Apple may be exploring built-in cellular connectivity, potentially marking the first time a Mac could connect directly to mobile networks without relying on an iPhone hotspot.

While supply chain sources express high confidence in these upcoming releases, Apple has not officially announced any of these products, and production timelines may still shift.
