Plumtree Software Inc. Monday reported both a revenue and earnings increase for its second quarter, its first earnings report since becoming a publicly-traded company early last month.
The San Francisco-based portal software developer reported revenues of $22.6 million for the quarter ended June 30, up from $19.4 million in the same period a year ago. Software license revenue was up slightly from $13 to $13.8 million over the same year-ago period.
Net income also increased, to $1.3 million, compared to a $1 million loss in the same period a year ago.
Plumtree went public June 4. Also during the quarter, the company released version 4.5WS of its Plumtree Corporate Portal software.
“We will continue to invest in expanding our product line to address the diverse needs of our customers, extending our recognized leadership in the portal industry,” said Plumtree CEO John Kunze in a statement.
