Microsoft has delayed WinHEC until the fall of 2008, in response to “industry feedback.”
The conference will be supplemented throughout 2008 by “a series of technology-specific events that are designed to keep hardware engineers and Windows driver developers up-to-date,” Microsoft said on the WinHEC Web site.
WinHEC is Microsofts answer to the Intel Developer Forum, with an (unsurprising) focus on the interaction of hardware and software, rather than just software.
