Samsung Notebook 9 Pen Delivers Intel Core i7 CPU Power in Hybrid Case

Nearly all studies on the state of the notebook market show that consumers and enterprise buyers are buying more hybrid notebooks. The two-in-one PC that combine the features of laptops and tablets provide flexibility for use at home, in the office and on the road, generally come with lower prices than desktops and most larger laptop models. Samsung followed that trend with the Dec. 13 introduction of a new Windows 10 hybrid models it’s calling the Notebook 9 Pen. Samsung will display the new hybrid that supports the company’s S Pen Stylus at the Consumer Electronics Show 2018 in January and go on sale during the first quarter. Samsung is also calling out the Notebook 9 Pen’s “durable” magnesium alloy case as well as some impressive security features. Read on to learn more.

The Samsung Notebook 9 Pen was designed around the S Pen Stylus, which allows users to digitally write on the screen, mark up PDFs, edit documents and more. According to Samsung, its 0.7mm tip can recognize 4,096 levels of pressure.

The Notebook 9 Pen is powered by Intel’s eighth-generation Core i7 processor. That should be enough power for this lightweight notebook to allow users to run sophisticated business or personal productivity apps with ease. It also means that this Samsung model will be in no danger of being outclassed in terms of processing power for at least the next several years.
