Samsung Electronics this month is shipping a new line of monochrome laser printers aimed at small and midsize businesses and workgroups.

The ML-2250 Series prints 22 pages per minute at up to 1,200 dot-per-inch resolution. Equipped with a 166MHz processor, the new printer has 16MB of DRAM (dynamic RAM) memory, which can be expanded to 144MB. It holds 300 sheets of paper, with an additional 250-sheet tray available for extra cost.

The base model, priced at $229, includes USB 2.0 and parallel interfaces. The networked version, the ML-2251N, includes a 10/100BaseTX interface. It costs $299. The ML-2252W, priced at $499, adds 802.11b WLAN connectivity.
