TallyGenicom last week rolled out a $799 monochrome laser printer for small workgroups.

The 9025N prints 25 pages per minute at a resolution of 1,200 by 1,200 dots per inch, with a first-print-out speed of 12 seconds, officials said.

The printer holds 600 sheets, with an additional 500-sheet tray available for $259. It includes a duplexer for two-sided printing. The maximum paper size it handles is 8.5 inches by 14 inches.

The 9025N includes parallel, USB 2.0 and Ethernet 10/100BaseT interfaces. A version with wireless LAN 802.11b connectivity, the 9025W, costs $858. A non-networked model, the 9025, costs $599.
