ViewSonic was in Las Vegas at the Consumer Electronics Show on Jan. 8 to display its newest projectors, HDTVs and widescreen LCDs, designed for both the consumer and business professional.

While at the CES, the Walnut, Calif.-based provider of displays presented a fully featured high-definition DLP projector with an integrated iPod dock, two 1080p HDTVs as well as Microsoft Windows Vista-certified widescreen desktop LCD, aiming to boost business professionals productivity.

“By expanding our portfolios across all display formats, from widescreen displays and projectors to HDTVs, we are enabling consumers and professionals alike to realize that they can see the difference with ViewSonic,” said Matt Milne, president of ViewSonic Americas, in a company release.

ViewSonics projectors will provide business users with a way to view their data through big screen viewing through four DLP (digital light processing) platforms: the PJ503D, the PJ506D, the PJ556D and the PJ588D, which are currently available.

Two of the newest desktop LCD displays, the VX2055wmb and VX2255wm, developed by ViewSonic, will combine Webcam and speaker features while the VX2835wm and VX2835wm will provide users with a larger and wider screen for viewing data.

For the consumers, ViewSonic presented its newest LCD TVs, the 46-inch N4661w and 42-inch N4261w, which will provide consumers with advanced video and audio processing technology, enabling consumers to view high-definition digital content.

For the home user, ViewSonic also introduced its 20-inch N2652W HDTV.

“ViewSonic is forging ahead in its focus to continually delight customers by launching a diverse and deep array of leading-edge display technologies,” Milne said in the same release.

These new products from ViewSonic will be released in 2007. The estimated dates of release and pricing are as follows:

      • The PJ258D will be available in quarter 1 through authorized ViewSonic professional audio-visual resellers, distributors and solution providers for an estimated street price of $999.
      • The VX2055wmb/wmh and VX2255wmb/wmh will be offered in March for estimated street prices of $349 and $449, respectively, through authorized ViewSonic resellers, distributors solution providers and retailers, while the VX2435wm will ship in February and the VX2835wm in April.
      • The N2652w will be available in February with a manufacturers suggested retail price of $699 and the N4261w in March at an MSRP of $1799. The pricing and availability of the N4661w will be announced in the second quarter.
