Google Lets Users Overlay Data on Personalized Maps – Lots of people talk about making mashups and simple web applications easier to create for regular users. A promising example is this new service from Google called MyMaps, which makes it simple to create custom maps. I have to start playing with this right away.
Fujitsu-Siemens to Offer Flash-Memory Laptops – Fujitsu-Siemens will soon be offering laptops that use Flash based hard drives (starting with 32 GByte versions) in Europe. However, at around $688 these are way over priced which makes them much less interesting.
