Here are the emerging technology stories for the week of June 25th.

BPEL Gets Human – A new BPEL specification is announced called BPEL4People. Interesting development as Business Process Management tools have been increasingly focused on human-based processes.

Linux computer fits in USB key – I have to admit that I think this is pretty cool. A Linux distro actually running on a USB key, which is definitely a step up from the bootable LiveCD set-ups I’ve used on USB thumbs.

WSJ’s Mossberg Praises ‘Breakthrough’ iPhone – Mmmmm. Trying to remember something. I know there’s supposed to be some big product release this week. What was the darn thing called again? Oh yeah, the iPhone. As usual, enterprise press are the second class citizens when it comes to cool new Apple products, but of course the Journal gets an early copy.
