7 Cyber-Security Vendors That Raised Funding in August 2017

2017 so far has seen a steady flow of cyber-security startups emerge with new funding, and August, though slower than other months, was no exception. Multiple cyber-security vendors raised new funding rounds to support and grow their technology and go-to-market efforts. The two big areas for funding in August were artificial intelligence (AI)-powered threat hunting and internet of things (IoT) security startups. Among the vendors that raised money for AI-driven technologies were Respond Software, which brought in $12 million, and Versive, which raised $12.7 million.
