A select group of air travelers soon may get to pass through an airport security express lane. Known as Registered Traveler, the program is due to begin a three-month trial run in late June, using up to 10,000 volunteers. The federal Transportation Security Administration program will require participants to voluntarily undergo and pass a detailed background check.
