Technology giant Hewlett-Packard (HP) announced enhancements to its Just Right IT program, which is designed to help the company’s channel partners accelerate time-to-revenue by simplifying design and delivery of networking, server and storage solutions for small and midsize businesses (SMBs).

The first offering is the Wireless Network Solution, which provides wired and wireless networking for SMBs, and includes simplified management with HP Intelligent Management Center (IMC), a single-pane-of-glass management system supporting more than 6,000 devices from more than 220 vendors.

Also included is the company’s Lifetime Warranty 2.0, which provides 24/7 phone support for three years, helps eliminates hidden costs and lower upfront and ongoing support expenses, and reduces investment in additional add-on service enhancements.

Key components of the program are HP NetworkIT and HP Simply StoreIT, which help enable resellers to deliver HP networking and storage solutions, based on customer size and stage of a customer’s IT development. The NetworkIT program is tailored to meet the basic connectivity requirements of small businesses, as well as the complex needs of midsize organizations building mobile-centric businesses.

Solution guides and blueprints target specific challenges in areas such as business-grade wireless networks, unified communications and collaboration, and secure, unified access and infrastructure, and the program offers tools including co-branded lead-generation assets, training, guides and materials.

Simply StoreIT is designed to help resellers reduce the time required to sell and design optimized solutions that meet current and future customer needs. The program offers training and sales tools to market and implement innovations such as the company’s recently enhanced MSA 2040 Storage disk array.

Program enhancements include templates, visual aid reference configuration and solution-block blueprints, and concise technical briefs detailing scenarios that map IT and business benefits to each customer’s specific needs within budget.

“Whether customers are just starting out, building momentum or expanding their business, they need a partner capable of quickly designing and deploying the right solution to meet their IT priorities,” Derek Kuhr, practice manager of Heartland Technology Solutions, an HP channel partner, said in a statement. “HP’s Just Right IT program is designed to dramatically speed solution configuration, delivery and time-to-revenue while enabling our SMB customers to more quickly generate return on investment.”

New components of the Just Right IT program also include HP Small Business Solutions and HP Secure Access and Continuity Solutions. Small Business Solutions are networking, server and storage bundles that support IT and business functions, such as email, file, print, networking access and backup, while Secure Access and Continuity Solutions offer SMBs’ built-in security and continuity features for access to data.
