Technology wholesale distributor Tech Data announced the launch of a Website strategically designed and custom-built for small and midsize business (SMB) solution providers.

The Website hopes to provide a user-friendly experience and offers enhanced resources for solution providers, including Tech Data’s rewards program, TDLoyalty.

The point-based loyalty program is grouped into three levels—Advantage, Choice and Preferred—based on participants’ total Web sales for the year.

Through each level, participants are eligible for additional services, discounts and incentives.

Participating solution providers can earn points by purchasing eligible products through the TDSMB Website and can stack points to purchase items from a catalog of more than 10,000 items, including point redemption for Tech Data’s marketing services through TDAgency.

Other features include a customizable dashboard design that brings key information to the forefront. The Website gives SMB solution providers access to new features such as live chat, order monitoring, account status, hot sellers and featured promotions.

This includes responsive design that allows users to access the site from a wide variety of mobile devices, with resolution adjusting to fit various screens.

“TDSMB puts SMB partners first by offering customizable, straightforward business solutions, hands-on support and a strong community that empowers its members while driving efficiency and growth,” Greg Banning, vice president of TDSMB at Tech Data, said in a statement. “We understand that business is not one-size-fits-all, and neither are SMB solution providers’ growth strategies. Today’s market demands speed and human-to-human interaction, which Tech Data has addressed with the TDSMB sales division and through the new Website.”

In addition to the Website launch, the TDSMB sales division has aligned its business model to better meet solution providers’ needs through technology segmentation and market niches, including TDElite to service high-end technology needs and TDFuel for highly trained sales force focused on systems and peripherals.

The two other segments include TDEnable, a tenured sales team aligned by technology and buying groups, and TDLaunch, a specialized new account onboarding and acquisition sales and support team.

“The TDSMB Website embraces B2C standards of usability and personalization capabilities, providing our SMB solution providers with a platform individually customized to best meet their business needs,” Phil Filippelli, vice president of e-business at Tech Data, said in a statement. “Tech Data is the first company in distribution to offer a site with this level of technology for both solution providers and vendor partners, offering online collaboration, enhancing the user experience, and enabling a better flow of information. The Website streamlines the ordering process and provides value-added resources seamlessly on one Website.”
