Telanetix, a communications solutions provider offering voice services and video telepresence solutions to the business market, announced the expansion of its contract with CallSource, a provider of call tracking technologies that helps companies increase marketing effectiveness, capture additional sales opportunities and improve customer service. Telanetix said it will be providing CallSource with many of its business phone services, including Local DID, Toll Free, and U.S. and international long distance, all based on Telanetix’s nationwide VOIP network.

CallSource has been relying on the voice services of Telanetix (marketed under the AccessLine brand) for the past several years. The new contract with Telanetix represents an increase in service revenue of more than double the rate of the most recent 12 months, to approximately $2 million annually, the release stated. Founded in 1994, CallSource is a provider to the automotive, multifamily housing, publishing, and advertising markets, in addition to businesses across several other industries. CallSource said it manages more than 6 million phone leads each month for over 250,000 advertisers.

Doug Johnson, CEO of Telanetix, said the expansion of their relationship with CallSource is an example of the success they are having in their continued growth and investment in delivering voice services to the small and medium-size business (SMB) marketplace. “CallSource is an important customer and the best vote of confidence comes from a customer who has a long history with you and chooses not only to continue that relationship, but to add to it,” he said. “We believe this is a positive sign for both of our companies and also for those who continue to serve the greater SMB market as a whole.”

Earlier in the summer, Telenetix announced the release of a new version of its Digital Phone System (DPS) product, targeted at midmarket companies. The new release provided the capability of operating multiple businesses out of one location using one phone system, giving SMBs the option of running two different kinds of companies from the same building using the same personnel.

“We are increasing our use of Telanetix services because we have found that the company provides an excellent value and performs at a very high level,” said CallSource chief strategy officer Elliot Leiboff. “Our business depends on delivering dependable phone service to our business customers. Our business model depends on delivering that service at a great value. Telanetix has demonstrated to us that they can deliver on both counts.”
