ConnectWise, a provider of business management solutions designed for IT service providers, value added resellers and managed service providers, announced that VirtualTone has completed integration with ConnectWise. VirtualTone’s latest feature, the VTone Sidebar, provides total integration of VirtualTone’s inbound and outbound IP calling capabilities with ConnectWise’s Business Automation Software to help enhance the productivity and efficiency of ConnectWise partners.

The VTone Sidebar was designed to answer a ConnectWise partner integration request−inbound call recognition with ConnectWise. VTone SideBar searches a partner’s company database, then retrieves and displays customer information in the ConnectWise Company Screen directly on the sales or technical agent’s computer. VTone SideBar handles inbound and outbound calls without any special drivers, and it runs on Windows, OSX and Linux operating systems.

“We originally designed VirtualTone to make our company more productive and efficient,” said Jay Gubert, president of VirtualTone. “Now as many companies decide to save expenses by offering the option to telecommute, we continue to add features and expand integration possibilities. The ConnectWise integration was our first priority because ConnectWise is the leading business operating system for IT solution providers−in fact, it’s the one we use to run our own IT business. “

VirtualTone is a dedicated VOIP business phone system and service that is designed with cloud computing technology and is accessible from a broadband Internet connection. Among the main features offered with the VTone Sidebar are a live call display panel, call detail reporting, call center queue monitoring, call recording, voicemail, DND status and a host of statistics and controls.

“We are very excited about the opportunity to enable the ConnectWise software to fully communicate with any IP phone system,” said Arnie Bellini, CEO of ConnectWise. “We are especially pleased that such an integration was made available by one of our existing ConnectWise partners. The VTone Sidebar is an incredible communication solution for ConnectWise and will make it possible for any of our partners to take advantage of inbound call integration into our PSA software for enhanced productivity of their CRM systems.”
