IT virtualization infrastructure software provider VM6 Software announced the launch of its global partner program, designed to provide value-added resellers and system integrators with an opportunity to expand into the virtualization market for small to medium-size businesses, as well as remote and branch offices. The company offers midmarket businesses and remote and branch offices a solution for server consolidation, high availability, provisioning and virtual machine management.

The company said by launching the global partner program, it plans to increase its reach into the virtualization and virtualization management markets by attracting new partners with established customer bases and industry expertise who focus primarily in the SMB space. Benefits to partners include in-depth sales and technical training on VM6 Software solutions, joint marketing programs and campaigns, redistribution of all generated leads to channel partners for closing and a fully integrated opportunity registration program that allows partners to register their deals directly into VM6 Software’s CRM tool and get additional discounts.

“VM6 Software’s global partner program enables us to offer our SMB and enterprise customers a simpler, cost-effective virtualization solution,” said John Kadianos, managing partner at infrastructure virtualization specialist Hyper Technologies. “VM6 Software has been instrumental in enabling us to expand our software offerings to our customers and continue to be their trusted advisers by giving them effective solutions that meet their specific needs.”

Prior to offering its solution VM6 VMex, VM6 Software was a virtualization systems integrator. As such, the company positions itself as understanding the requirements reseller and integration partners need to provide expert service and support to end users. VM6 VMex leverages Microsoft Hyper-V to create one solution for SMBs and remote offices to provision, consolidate, manage and protect all workloads, removing the need for hardware or storage area networks (SANs).

Eric Courville, chief operating officer and co-founder of VM6 Software, said as a previous systems integrator, the company understands the value that VARs and SIs bring to the success of the company. “By providing training, joint marketing programs and synergies between our sales teams and partners, we are confident our partners will succeed,” he said. “Our goal is to support their ongoing efforts to expand their offerings, drive revenue growth and increase customer satisfaction.”
