EMC Sells Remote Back-Up to Telecom Companies

EMC Corp. and Connected Corp. this week announced sales of data protection technologies to three telecommunication companies. T-Com, Bell Canada and Royal KPN will use provide archival services to their customers using EMCs Clariion arrays and Centera content addressed storage server and Connecteds DataProtector/PC data capture and restoration software. The storage system extend the companys information life-cycle management strategy to PCs, the company said.
