PeopleSoft Inc. on Monday announced the availability of the latest version of its Enterprise Warehouse business intelligence and analytics platform, designed to give users immediate access to enterprise data and predefined business metrics.

This version, Enterprise Warehouse 8.8, includes pre-packaged analytic content, a portal interface and Web services capabilities. Its included within PeopleSofts AppConnect product suite and can be used with PeopleSofts Enterprise Portal.

Enterprise Warehouse consists of an operational data store for off-line reporting, a data warehouse for hosting analytical applications, pre-defined data marts for multi-dimensional analysis, as well as more than 1,200 pre-defined business metrics that can be delivered in portals, applications, or OLAP tools, PeopleSoft officials, in Pleasanton, Calif., said.

This version also includes an extract, transform and load (ETL) tool to consolidate data from any business application for real-time analysis, officials said.
