      In Phoenix this week, the storage industry gathers at Storage Networking World. Analysts, customers and vendors showcase the latest solutions, hardware technologies and industry initiatives.

      Computer Associates Preps SAN Management Package

      Computer Associates International will unveil storage management technologies later this year based on the analogies of administering ordinary networks. These elements include creating uniform policy engines, security, availability, and quality-of-service.

      Kasten Chase Rolls Out SAN Encryption Architecture

      Kasten Chase Applied Research Ltd. announced Assurency SecureData, a new SAN encryption option. The scheme uses a 2U rack-mounted server, agent software and PCI cards in a storage area networks servers, and agent software in switches.
