Social Networks and Business Productivity

Social networks in business are relatively new, but already some of those businesses are finding ways to get a return on social networking, by enabling a better understanding how information flows in a business, and analyzing patters of communication and how they correlate to business productivity. Eric Brynjolfsson, Schussel Professor at the MIT Sloan School of Management and Director of the MIT Center for Digital Business, discusses this with eWeek's Eric Lundquist at the recent 2008 MIT Sloan CIO Symposium in Cambridge, Mass.
