The company's Windows operating system is being used on the vast majority of computers running around the world. Its Internet Explorer browser easily bests the competition, even though it faces criticism from government regulators. In the enterprise, there isn't a single tech company that can even come close to the importance and relevance Microsoft enjoys. Simply put, the software giant is in a dominant position.
