Microsoft seems determined to eliminate whatever hurdles may stifle collaboration among users of the company’s mobile apps. The latest move is updating its Outlook for iOS suite so that it handles Office files better, providing a more seamless experience for users.
Tapping on Outlook attachments now prompt them to open in their respective apps, like Word, Excel or PowerPoint, allowing users to quickly view and edit Office documents.
Samsung is offering an Ultimate Test Drive program to Apple iPhone owners to entice them to switch to one of Samsung’s latest Galaxy S6 Edge+ or Galaxy Note 5 smartphones, which officially went on sale Aug. 21.
Any iPhone owner can participate in the Ultimate Test Drive after paying a $1 fee and registering using their iPhone on the program’s Website. Participants can choose one of the two phones and will also receive an activated SIM card and a step-by-step instruction guide.
They then have 30 days to choose whether they will buy the smartphone after the test or if they will return it, according to the company.

According to the site and mounting rumors, Microsoft is preparing to take the wraps off the Windows 10-powered Surface Pro 4 at the event.
Expected to largely carry forward the look and feel of the previous version, rumors indicate that the productivity-focused tablet may get a significant performance increase, courtesy of Intel’s latest Skylake processor technology.
