The LG Watch Urbane smartwatch, built with an all-metal body and a leather wristband, is now on sale in the United States through the Google Store.

The watch will sell for $349 and will ship by May 8 in silver or gold colors, according to an April 27 announcement on the Google Store Website and on the company’s Twitter feed.

It has a classic round watch face that’s aimed at fashion-conscious luxury goods buyers, and is joining a smartwatch marketplace that just saw the entry of the Apple Watch back on April 24.

Building on last year’s release of Social Listening, a suite of social sentiment and analytics capabilities for Dynamics CRM, Microsoft is rolling out Microsoft Social Engagement this week.

Social Listening is based on NetBreeze social analytics application technology, which Microsoft acquired in 2013.

Bob Stutz, corporate vice president of Microsoft Dynamics CRM, explained that the new name was more than just a branding change, but rather part of a completely re-imagined user experience for companies.

The open-source WordPress content management system on April 27 received an emergency update, patching a new zero-day vulnerability that might have exposed users to risk.

Security researcher Jouko Pynnönen explained that the issue is a stored Cross Site Scripting vulnerability, triggered when a comment is viewed that has had JavaScript injected into it by an unauthorized user.

The big risk with the flaw is that if a WordPress administrator was somehow tricked into viewing the comment, the attacker would be able to execute arbitrary code.

As part of the April 2015 update for Internet Explorer 11, Microsoft has added new features aimed at improving compatibility with sites coded for IE 7, Microsoft Program Manager Deen King-Smith and Senior Product Marketing Manager Fred Pullen announced in a joint blog post.

Introduced during last year’s Build conference in San Francisco, the Enterprise Mode feature in IE 11 offered businesses a way to adopt the company’s newer Windows operating systems and Web browser software without breaking compatibility with IE 8 apps.
