      The DuraForce Pro features a 5-inch Full HD touch-screen display (1,920×1,080 resolution), a Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8952 octa-core processor, 2GB of memory, 32GB of built-in storage and a microSDXC slot that accepts additional storage cards up to 200GB.

      Instead of just the usual front and rear cameras, the DuraForce Pro also has a rear-mounted super-wide-view 135-degree 1080p HD video camera with fixed focus that is built to provide high-quality action images and video for active users. That’s in addition to the 13-megapixel rear-facing camera and the 5-megapixel front-facing camera that are also included.

      The handset also includes a biometric fingerprint authentication sensor that’s built into the power button, giving users extra security and protection for their devices and data. In addition, the phone uses FIPS 140-02 encryption for user and device security. Also featured is a 3,240mAh non-removable battery as well as wireless and quick charging capabilities.

      The DuraForce Pro runs the Android 6 Marshmallow operating system and is ready for use with Android for Work apps and features for enterprise workers. The handset, which is 5.84 inches tall, 2.89 inches wide and 0.51 inches thick, includes a two-year manufacturer’s warranty.

      Built for workers in hostile environments, the DuraForce Pro touch-screen display can be operated by users, even when they are wearing gloves or using wet hands. The phone also includes loud dual front speakers that are built to be heard in noisy environments, as well as a large dedicated side button that can be used with push-to-talk services or used as a programmable button for a desired feature. Price and availability information will be announced in the future.

      The DuraForce Pro is a 4G LTE smartphone that includes multiple options for additional connectivity, including WiFi, Bluetooth 4.2, Near Field Communication and mobile hotspot connectivity. It also includes a USB 2.0 port.

      The ruggedized handset is shockproof, drop-proof and dustproof, meeting IP68 standards for “waterproofness” for up to 30 minutes in up to 6.5 feet of water. It also meets Military Standard 810G certification for protection against dust, shock, vibration, temperature extremes, blowing rain, low pressure, solar radiation, salt fog, humidity, immersion, temperature shock and icing/freezing rain.
