Fans of No-Contract Phones Get More Android Choices

The second-generation Moto E has a 4.5-inch thin-film-transistor display with a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 surface, a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon CPU, 1GB of RAM and 8GB of on-board storage, which is expandable to 32GB via a microSD slot. The Moto E also has a 5MP rear camera, a VGA front camera and a 2,390mAh battery, and runs on Android 5.0.2 Lollipop.

The ZTE Maven is a 4G LTE phone that has a 4.5-inch touch-screen display, a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor, 1GB of memory, a 5MP autofocus rear-facing camera, a VGA front camera and 8GB of internal storage that’s expandable to 32GB. The Maven has a 2,100mAh lithium ion removable battery and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop.

The Sonata 2 includes a 4-inch WVGA display, a 1.2GHz Qualcomm dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 32GB of expandable storage via a microSD card and longer battery life through a 1,650mAh battery. The Sonata 2 runs on Android 4.4 KitKat and offers 4G performance.

The Sonata 2 has a 5MP rear-facing camera featuring LED flash and 4X zoom capabilities, as well as a 2MP front-facing camera and a selfie shortcut button for easier selfies.

The Tribute 2 smartphone features a 4.5-inch IPS display, 1GB of RAM, a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor and 8GB of on-board storage. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop and is 4G LTE capable.

The LG Tribute 2 offers improved battery life over the original LG Tribute phone through its removable 1,900mAh Li-Ion battery that promises up to 16 hours of talk time. The Tribute 2 is 5.11 inches tall, 2.56 inches wide, 0.43 inches thick and weighs 4.9 ounces.

With its 5-inch qHD IPS display, a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor and 1GB of RAM, the LG Volt 2 provides good performance at a low price. The phone includes 8GB of internal storage, which is expandable to 32GB and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop.

With its 8MP rear-facing camera, LG Volt 2 owners can take good quality images wherever they go. And using LG’s built-in Gesture Shot feature, Volt 2 owners can take hands-free selfies with the phone’s 5MP front-facing camera simply by waving their hand.

The LG Volt 2 offers 3G, 4G LTE, Enhanced LTE and WiFi connectivity options for users, as well as an estimated 21 hours of talk time thanks to its removable 2,540mAh Li-Ion battery. The Volt 2 is 5.50 inches high, 2.75 inches wide and 0.40 inches thick, and it weighs 4.8 ounces.
