HP’s Latest Tablets, Accessories Built to Serve the Mobile Employee

Text: The tablets come equipped with commercial-grade Android that uses business-class hardware security managed by HP Touchpoint Manager, Managed Mobility Services and optional third-party enterprise mobility management (EMM) suites. Both the 8-inch and 12-inch tablets feature an HD ultra-high 2,048-by-1,536 resolution on a Corning Gorilla Glass screen.

Text: This hybrid tablet/laptop offers an optional enterprise wireless dock, power keyboard, lightweight travel keyboard and Wacom pen. Running Windows 8.1 Pro, the Elite x2 puts a focus on security and reliability, boasting HP Sure Start, HP BIOSphere, HP Client Security, Trusted Platform Module (TPM) and self-encrypting drives. The case comes with a one-year warranty and includes a hand strap for more convenient portability.

Text: The ElitePad 1000 G2 Rugged tablet is aimed at mobile workers in manufacturing or in-field environments. It is IP65 rated for water and dust and is certified to MIL-STD 810. Plus, it comes with up to 20 hours of battery life and a 2D barcode reader. Rugged devices are alluring to certain industries because more and more people bring technology outside traditional office environments, especially in industries like manufacturing, according to Park.
