4 - Intel Positioning Itself as

Since Intel’s processors are just about everywhere in the IT world—and that more business intelligence is being baked into them—it makes sense for the world’s largest chip maker to have a presence at VMworld, alongside hundreds of companies that are either partners or customers.

Oracle’s day will come soon, however, when 30,000-plus folks will show up at Moscone Center a month from now for Oracle OpenWorld.

10 - Cortado Shows Mobile Device Wares

Mobile is not by nature one of the front-line topics at VMWorld, but Cortado, the Colorado-based enterprise cloud desktop service provider, was a sought-after vendor at the show.
