HTML5 is a markup language for structuring and presenting content for the World Wide Web, and is a core technology of the Internet originally proposed by Opera Software. It is the fifth revision of the HTML standard (created in 1990 and standardized as HTML4 as of 1997) and, as of October 2012, is still under development. Its core aims have been to improve the language with support for the latest multimedia while keeping it easily readable by humans and consistently understood by computers and devices.

Often expanded to Structured Query Language, SQL is a standardized computer language that was originally developed by IBM for querying, altering and defining relational databases, using declarative statements. T-SQL expands on the SQL standard to include procedural programming, local variables, various support functions for string processing, date processing, mathematics, etc., and changes to the DELETE and UPDATE statements.       Expertise in Apple’s iOS ranked as the tenth hottest skill on CyberCoders. iOS is a mobile operating system developed and distributed by Apple. Originally released in 2007 for the iPhone and iPod Touch, it has been extended to support other Apple devices such as the iPad and Apple TV. Unlike Microsoft’s Windows Phone and Google’s Android, Apple does not license iOS for installation on non-Apple hardware. As of Sept. 12, 2012, Apple’s App Store contained more than 700,000 iOS applications, which have collectively been downloaded more than 30 billion times. It had a 23 percent share of the smartphone operating system units sold in the first quarter of 2012, behind only Google’s Android. In June 2012, it accounted for 65 percent of mobile Web data consumption (including use on both the iPod Touch and the iPad). In the first half of 2012, there were 410 million devices activated. As of September, 400 million devices have been sold through June 2012.
