Microsoft MSN Homepage Redesigned for Easy Facebook, Twitter Access

The newly redesigned MSN homepage includes more white space and a rearrangement of many visual elements, for a “cleaner” feel.

The new MSN page leverages Bing and its partnership with Twitter to aggregate Tweets related to your location.

The new MSN page also aggregates postings from local blogs, with tabs that allow you to Browse by Blog and View Blogs on a map.

As part of the redesign, MSN heavily integrates social networking, allowing users to check their Windows Live network from the homepage.

MSN also integrates feeds from your Twitter contacts as part of its social networking initiative.

MSN will post updates from your Facebook friends.

Hotmail can be accessed from the homepage, with previews.

A TrendWatch feature on the homepage lists the most popular topics on Twitter.

The homepage also lists the days most popular MSN searches.
