Apple Tunes iPad Tablet Apps to Make Consumers Say iWant

Applications from the App Store will work on the iPad, almost all without modification, which means they look small.

The New York Times was part of a select group of application developers who had a two-week head start to port their applications for the iPad.

Here you see video embedded in a story. It worked well and should add to the experience of reading the NYTimes on the iPad.

Jobs lauds what appears to be the latest entry in the Museum of Computer Science, the Amazon Kindle.

If you’ve used a reader on the iPhone, this is very similar, just a lot bigger.

The bookshelf turns around to present the bookstore. Jobs claimed between the App Store, iTunes and now the iBook Store that Apple has 125 million credit cards enabled for one-click shopping.

All without a keyboard. It will be interesting to see how well initial creation goes on the iPad. With a bit of learning, probably not too bad.
