Swiftpage has launched a new version of its Saleslogix customer relationship management (CRM) software for mobile users. Designed to help businesses take advantage of sales opportunities on-the-fly, Saleslogix Mobile allows salespeople to manage accounts, take and update orders, and respond quickly to customers.

“Companies want the flexibility to equip their people with the right information and tools to manage relationships in the field,” Dave Wallace, director of product management, Swiftpage, Denver, Colo., said in a statement. “Saleslogix Mobile isn’t just a mobile interface on an existing CRM product. It’s been designed from the ground up with the features and functions that will help salespeople easily and quickly act on opportunities.”

Saleslogix Mobile is compatible with the latest HTML5-based devices on Android, iOS, BlackBerry and Windows phones. The browser-based mobile client can be accessed on Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Internet Explorer 9.

Users can access customer information stored securely in the Saleslogix Cloud or on-premises. It allows them to access customer information using quick lookups or filtered searches, connect with the calendar, take notes, schedule meetings and complete tasks.

A new feature includes full mobile attachment support, including camera support, enabling users to take photos of incidents, invoices or other documents, and add them to the CRM. It now provides a “My Activities” view that helps users keep track of current tasks, and a mobile search with Google-type search functionality that allows users to quickly find critical data. Other new features include a global menu for faster access to any part of the CRM system, and multi-currency support.

Swiftpage also announced that it has partnered with UniFirst to deliver Saleslogix Mobile to the company’s field sales force to help it efficiently manage corporate and user prospecting databases. The sales team will access the mobile CRM software via their company-issued iPads.

“We used Saleslogix for our inside sales team, and decided to roll the mobile version out to our entire sales force so we could increase productivity in the field,” Paul Raimondi, UniFirst’s IT project manager, said in a statement. “SalesLogix and Plus Consulting worked with us to ensure the implementation was efficient, and met every one of our specific, and challenging, requirements.”

Saleslogix was recently named a “champion” in its CRM Suites for Large Enterprises Vendor Landscape by Info-Tech Research Group.

According to Gartner, more than 50 percent of the CRM software will be delivered by software as a service (SaaS) in 2016. The company expects the global CRM software market, which includes both SaaS and on-premises offerings, to grow 9.7 percent in 2013.
