Stealth.com has expanded its portfolio of industrial monitors with the introduction of a 26-inch LCD model that features a high-definition widescreen 16:9 format with 1080p resolution (1920 by 1080). The panel-mount SV-2600W-PM is touted as Stealth’s largest rugged industrial monitor to date.

The LCD is environmentally sealed to NEMA 4/IP65 specifications, which provide maximum protection in dirty, wet and hostile operating environments such as those found in industrial, commercial, security and defense markets. Applications for these industrial-hardened monitors include human machine interface (HMI), factory automation, process control, kiosks and digital signs.

Using LED backlights for optimal energy efficiency, key features of the LCD monitor include up to 350 Nits (Cd/m2) of brightness, a contrast ratio of 1000:1 and wide viewing angles of 178 degrees. The monitor is plug and play, requiring no video drivers or special interface cards, and provides capacitive touch-screen, VGA and DVI-D video input connectors.

The LCD monitor is said to be easy to install into new and existing panels, cabinets and consoles without having to drill multiple stud holes. These LCDs are secured with attached steel brackets. Available now, pricing for the SV-2600W-PM LCD monitor starts at $2,195.

If your company is in the market for a rugged mini PC, Stealth.com recently introduced a fanless, small-form-factor PC for space-constrained industrial and commercial applications. The LPC-480FS Little PC is designed without cooling fans, which reduces the possibility of catastrophic failures that could be caused by dirt and dust drawn in by the fans.

For protection, the fanless computers are encapsulated in a rugged extruded aluminum chassis, which acts as a heat sink to dissipate heat. The industrial PC measures 6.1 by 10.0- inches with a height of less than 2.17 inches.

The mini PC is powered by an Intel B840 mobile processor, supports SATA III, and features a variety of I/O connectivity, including Gigabit LAN, 4-USB 3.0, 2-USB 2.0, 2-Serial/RS232, Intel HD3000 graphics, audio in/out and 2-PS/2 ports. It supports up to 16GB of DDR3 SO-DIMMs (double data rate type 3 small-outline dual-in-line memory modules).

The mini PC ships standard with a 128GB solid-state drive (SSD), and is compatible with Microsoft Windows 7, 8, XP, Embedded and Linux. Custom configurations are available. Starting price for the LPC-480FS is $1,395.

The Little PC products can be used in a variety of applications including embedded control, digital signs, kiosks, mobile navigation, thin clients, point of sale (POS) and HMI.
