Kronos continues to improve its cloud workforce management suite for small and midsize businesses (SMBs). New enhancements focus on easier access to and management of real-time employee data. The Kronos Workforce Ready suite provides an enterprise-class human resources, payroll, time and attendance platform in the cloud for SMBs.
Designed to help SMBs more effectively manage their workforce, the latest updates deliver improved payroll support for companies with multiple employer identification numbers (EINs), enabling them to consolidate their reporting across locations or companies, and closer integration with ADP for tax filing, wage garnishments and check printing. It also provides consolidated billing, expanded support for California Meal Break compliance and additional overtime request/approval capabilities.
In addition, online training and education is available for Workforce Ready through Kronos’ Knowledge Pass education subscription. The company’s educational services encompass eLearning, instructor-led training and education consulting.
“The latest updates to Workforce Ready make it easier than ever for small and midsize businesses to manage their workforces,” Mark Ellis, general manager, small business, Kronos, said in a statement. “Enhanced payroll support, closer integration with ADP, and free built-in training and education will enable organizations to hit the ground running with Workforce Ready and begin gaining competitive advantage”
Earlier this year, Kronos upgraded Workforce Ready with improved employee self-service features, enhanced mobile capabilities, new overtime pay calculation settings and additional pay rules. The company also added support for the French language and now supports three languages including English and Spanish.
Leveraging its hosted multi-tenant architecture, Workforce Ready uses a software-as-a-service-based (SaaS-based) pricing approach, said the company. Applications are available on a per-employee, per-month basis, together with fixed-price implementation services.
SaaShr, a Kronos company, also announced similar enhancements to its workforce management platform that delivers enterprise-level applications to the SMB market through service providers. These improvements include payroll support for companies with multiple EINs, consolidated billing, mass edit capabilities that enable providers to make changes to multiple clients at one time, expanded support for California Meal Break compliance, and additional overtime request/approval capabilities. Online training and education is available through its Ancillary Product and Service Marketplace.
