Business applications developer Rearden Commerce has launched Deem at Work, a suite of integrated travel, spend and expense management applications aimed at small and midsize businesses.

Available as a white-label solution and leveraging location-based information, the platform provides applications to purchase and manage travel (air, car and hotel); restaurant reservations; office supplies; industrial maintenance, repair and operations supplies; IT; shipping; and more.

The Deem Purchase application provides access to office and IT products, maintenance supplies for facilities management, and industrial products with discounts at national retailers like Office Depot, En Pointe Technologies, Intraline and others. The application offers an average savings of up to 30 percent, Reardon said. Expense, an optional premium service, automates and integrates expense reporting, while the Travel app helps small businesses plan flight bookings, hotel reservations and car rentals.

€œDeem at Work is a new strategic business channel, with potential access to millions of new customers,€ Michael Page, vice president of e-Strategy for R.S. Hughes, said in a prepared statement. €œDeem€™s Relevance Engine, along with our expertise in serving small to midsized business across North America, will deliver new value to these users. We€™re pleased to be an inaugural supplier supporting small business and the launch of Deem at Work to the marketplace.€

The applications are integrated with standard financial systems, personal and corporate credit cards, and Deem€™s travel-booking application, the company said. The platform also enables mobile expense tracking and approvals.

€œRunning an artisan cupcake, beer and wine bar in Manhattan, I am always looking for ways to save money and time,€ Marlo Scott, owner of Sweet Revenge in New York, said in a press statement. €œDeem at Work delivers on both€”I found their prices to be lower than two national office-supply chains and delivery was fast.€

Underpinning Deem at Work is the Deem network, an ecosystem of business-to-business and business-to-consumer buyers and sellers across companies in all industries. All participants in the Deem network can leverage Rearden€™s white-label applications and relevant network content, designed to drive more customer engagement, loyalty and enhanced monetization.

€œWe designed Deem at Work to help our partners increase their engagement with small business customers,€ Patrick Grady, founder, chairman and CEO of Rearden Commerce, said in a press statement. €œWith a white-labeled Deem at Work solution, our partners can provide the full set of products and services SMBs need to run their businesses€”with the added benefits of cost savings, time savings and the means to better manage cash flow.€

Last week, MasterCard Worldwide announced a partnership with Rearden Commerce in launching its MasterCard Business Network to deliver commerce solutions to its business customers via the Deem at Work platform. Available to any MasterCard cardholder, this online resource featuring integrated modules is designed to help save money on business supplies, simplify and improve travel and entertainment planning, and streamline expense management.
