Apparent Networks, a provider of remote performance management solutions, today announced a technology alliance with Technology Assurance Group, an international organization of independently owned unified communications companies. Together, Apparent Networks and TAG plan to deliver RPM services, education and support to TAG members.
Apparent Networks’ PathView Cloud provides network engineers with a remote management and performance solution that enables users to proactively assess network health, continuously monitor network and application performance, and troubleshoot problems remotely. Together, PathView Cloud and the AppView Voice module are designed to ensure successful UC deployments by generating and measuring real voice traffic. AppView gives network managers visibility into how an application will perform on any network, including the impact of all security and traffic shaping technologies.
“We are looking forward to working with TAG and supporting their initiatives to enable members with the innovative technology solutions and educational resources they need to effectively and profitably deliver UC applications such as VOIP [voice over IP] and video,” said Jim Melvin, CEO of Apparent.
TAG works closely with members to assist business owners who deliver unified communication solutions to the small to medium-size business (SMB) marketplace to reach the leading edge of business processes, technology and management. With resources focused on the selling process, business and management practices, and other industry insight, TAG provides knowledge and support to its members. Together, TAG and Apparent Networks said they plan to support the business growth and profit of the TAG membership.
“Apparent Networks provides an exceptional remote performance management solution that will greatly aid TAG members when deploying IP-based solutions to their customers,” said Brian Suerth, executive vice president and partner of TAG. “TAG members are the top UC companies in the industry, and partnering with Apparent Networks gives them another point of differentiation versus their competition.”
Earlier this month, Apparent and sales and marketing consultancy MSPexcellence announced a business coaching and partner productivity program for managed service providers (MSPs). The program is designed to accelerate the revenue growth of Apparent Networks’ partners with tools that enable MSPs to establish an effective and efficient sales and marketing operation within their business.
The MSPexcellence business-coaching program takes the MSP partner through the phases of establishing a professional sales and marketing operation within their business. The program emphasizes the principles of selling value, generating quality leads and managing the sales process like a science with key metrics to track progress and accurately project revenue growth.
“The increased dependency on performance-sensitive voice and data applications has created an enormous business opportunity for MSPs to ensure their customer networks are fully optimized for performance, availability and cost efficiency,” said Melvin. “To capitalize on this opportunity, the MSP needs to combine excellent technology with excellent sales and marketing execution. Our partnership with MSPexcellence adds the critical business tools for building a successful MSP business based on our award-winning technology.”
