The new LG G Watch R and Moto 360 smartwatches are being launched by AT&T, with the LG device going on sale to consumers on the AT&T Website today and the Moto 360 becoming available online and in AT&T stores beginning Nov. 7. The LG G Watch R will be available in stores starting Nov. 7.

AT&T unveiled the availability of the new devices in separate announcements on Nov. 4.

The LG G Watch R, which retails for $299 on AT&T’s Website, features a 1.3-inch circular P-OLED display and 4GB of storage for contact information and photos, plus sensors including a 9-axis gyro and accelerometer to track your daily steps and a built-in heart rate sensor to monitor your heart rate.

The LG device runs on Android Wear and has a sleek premium PVD metal finish watch face with a screen that can be customized with more than a dozen changeable electronic faces, according to AT&T. The smartwatch is available in black and will fit any 22mm wristband an owner might want to use. It can be paired via Bluetooth with compatible smartphones running Android 4.3 or higher, allowing call and message notifications, reminders and important updates to pop up on the watch face. The watch also features a 410mAh battery and IP67 water resistance in up to three feet of water for up to 30 minutes.

The Moto 360, which is made by Motorola, retails for $249, but is being offered at a discounted price of $199 when customers purchase it along with a Motorola Moto X smartphone for a limited time. The separate Moto X phones retail for $99.99 with a two-year contract, $21.96 per month (total $527.04) under a 24-month AT&T Next installment plan or $26.35 a month (total $527) under a 20-month AT&T Next installment plan.

The Moto 360, which also runs on Android Wear, features a 1.56-inch circular LCD touch screen, Bluetooth that’s compatible with smartphones running Android OS 4.3 or higher, and notifications for incoming text messages and emails and voice-operated message composition capabilities.

The Moto 360 is made from stainless steel, genuine leather and scratch-resistant glass, and comes with a choice of black or gray leather wristbands. It also includes 4GB of storage, an optical heart rate monitor, a pedometer and a 320mAh battery that provides up to a day of power.
